Hello Blogosphere!

I finally took the plunge. After months of considering whether I should start a blog I finally did. I hope I will have enough to say. I have been following all kinds of blogs that are so informative and that have simply given me ideas on how to better my own life. So many of these blogs simply at times have brightened my day. So once I decided tostart  this little thing up  it took me a while to actually do it. I hope to share some of my life and to connect with great people out here in the blogosphere as it is called by so many. I’m not completely sure what direction my blog will take but it will be a little bit of most parts of my life. I am a grad student studying to be a School Psychologist in Tampa, Fl. For years I struggled to decide what I wanted to do with the rest of my life and I think I’ll be talking a little about that part of my life. I also once weighed about 120lbs more than I do now.

However through this process I’ve had my ups and my downs. It hasn’t been easyand it’s still not easy so that’s why I decided to call my blog Almost Healthy Chris. Being healthy and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is so important to me and I know I’ll be sharing plenty about my journey to be healthy in all areas of my life. I hope I connect with you all out there and if you have any Q&A’s feel free to ask.

    Hi Chris,

I’m really proud of you. After trying so many diets and all of the above and being unsuccessful, all I can say is: hat’s off to you! Your determination and drive is an inspiration for me. I might need your help to get healthy. It’s not hard to start, but stickin’ with it, is where I usually fail.

    Hey Chris!
I recently stumbled upon your blog and your story is just like mine!
People think an eating disorder is a “girl” illness, but it’s universal. Anyone can suffer from it. I know a bunch of wrestlers from my school who have it.
It’s great that your making changes in your life to help better your future :]
